A2 PRACTICAL PRODUCTION interesting source for advice on design, layout and typography

this is an excellent blog to model your own on - the author covers all aspects of the design process leading to a poster - core terms are used and we will be adding posts of a number of them

  1. this site is useful for summarising the aspects of a film when analysing one such as the style: theatrical / character or teaser poster, function, conventions & elements as well as considering the USP
  2. find at least three posters that relate to the style/content and target audience of your own film - upload a copy to your own blog and then use this link as a model for analysing and writing about them - look at the word and slideshare examples below to give an idea the standard expected
  3. as an extension look at different versions of the poster aimed at different audiences - make notes on how this has been achieved

thos work varies from an E grade to elements of a C/D grade the main issue being level of media language used


if you produce work as detailed, sophisticated and thorough as this you could earn a C grade or above.
